Dental Veneers can dramatically transform your smile.

Dental veneers can help protect and beautify your teeth, leaving you with a  gorgeous, natural-looking smile for years to come.

If you are wanting to cosmetically improve your smile while also preventing damage and decay, veneers may be a solution. At Cakmes Dental Studio, we offer two types of veneers: porcelain and composite resin.

Porcelain veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells made in-house that cover the front-facing side of the tooth, whereas with composite veneers, resin is applied directly to the tooth in layers to create a desired look. While both forms of veneers greatly improve the appearance of your smile, they do differ. Composite resin veneers have significantly improved over the years, but if not cared for properly, may wear or stain more quickly than porcelain. Porcelain veneers are touted for their durability and ability to mimic the appearance and feel of natural teeth.

In our commitment to providing high-quality cosmetic dentistry services to our patients, we offer DURAthin porcelain veneers. As incredibly thin, custom-made pieces, DURAthin veneers eliminate the need to drill, grind or shave down the existing tooth. This advanced product allows us to give our patients a natural, beautiful smile, while preserving healthy tooth structures when needed.

In some instances, our team may recommend a combination of both types, depending on the state of your teeth. Our team will consult with you to discover which restoration process is most beneficial for your dental needs.

Veneers are often used to correct:

  • Misshapen or crooked teeth
  • Spaces or gaps between teeth
  • Stained teeth
  • Broken, chipped or damaged teeth

ClearCorrect clear aligners straighten teeth invisibly, without metal braces.

Clear aligners show off your smile, so most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them.

Since 2006, thousands of people have successfully straightened their teeth with ClearCorrect. ClearCorrect may be a great solution if you are wanting straighter teeth without having to get braces. They are nearly invisible, are easy to remove when eating, and are made in America.

The first step is to get evaluated.

If you’re a good candidate for clear aligners, we will take photos and x-rays, use a scanner or impressions to capture the shape of your teeth, and submit your prescription to ClearCorrect. They will make a series of custom aligners that will apply pressure to the teeth that you want to move. You’ll wear your aligners for at least 22 hours per day, and we will check your progress along the way, giving you new aligners until the treatment is complete.

Aesthetic Contouring

Enhance your smile quickly with Aesthetic Countouring

If you have chipped, cracked or irregularly shaped teeth, dental contouring and reshaping may be a good solution for a more beautiful smile.

What is Aesthetic Contouring?

Aesthetic contouring is a quick, simple method to enhance your smile in as few as one visit. The procedure can be performed on a single tooth or numerous teeth. No anesthetic is needed for contouring, and, usually, only a strong topical anesthetic is required for gum contouring. Aesthetic contouring can quickly result in even teeth, balanced gum lines, and a more attractive smile.

Who is a good candidate for Aesthetic Countouring?

If you feel your teeth appear crowded, have chips and visible fractures, have decreased overlaps, and/or have pits or grooves in the enamel, you should schedule an appointment to discuss whether or not aesthetic contouring will work for you.
